Over‑current circuit breaker S 301N 1P+N B 13 6000 A series DX3 407474
Circuit breaker with neutral disconnection N – for circuits where safety and precision count
It is not a regular overload breaker. It has two poles – one protected, the other is the N conductor, which is simultaneously disconnected. This means that when the breaker trips, it not only opens the phase but also disconnects the neutral – enhancing safety during maintenance or a fault. It operates at 230 V AC, 50–60 Hz, and is designed for temperatures from –25 °C to +70 °C – suitable for both unheated rooms and boiler rooms or outdoor cabinets.
Characteristic B indicates a gentler response to short‑duration current surges than characteristic C. This is ideal for circuits with devices that do not have high inrush currents – e.g., LED lighting, household electronics, computers, or low‑power appliances. No nuisance tripping when turning on a lamp or charger.
Short‑circuit capacity 6 kA (per EN 60898) and 10 kA (per IEC 60947‑2) ensures it withstands typical faults in residential and light commercial installations. Energy‑limiting class 3 provides rapid arc extinction, reducing the risk of damage around the breaker during a fault.
Surface‑mount installation, width 1 module, mounting depth 44 mm – all allowing compact fitting even in tight cabinets. Terminals are designed for easy torque achievement: for single‑core wires up to 16 mm², and multi‑core wires up to 10 mm². No need to struggle with conductor sizes – the range is wide and flexible.
Protection rating IP20 means protection against finger contact only – standard for modular panels. There is no dust or water protection, as that is not its purpose. Its role is safe circuit disconnection within the panel.
Additionally, it features contact position indicators – you can see at a glance whether it is ON or OFF, even if the lever is concealed. Lever locking with Colring cable ties offers extra convenience for installers working in teams or during equipment replacement.
All this operates with a dielectric voltage of 250 V and an impulse voltage of 4 kV – meeting the requirements set by standards for domestic and office installations.
