Functionality and Application

This circuit breaker is designed for protecting circuits with a rated voltage of 400V and frequency of 50–60Hz. The D characteristic ensures delayed tripping during short-duration current surges, which is critical for devices with induction motors or other loads with high inrush currents. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6kA at 400V, while the ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) according to IEC 60947-2 is 10kA at 400V and up to 25kA at 230V, ensuring effective protection in case of fault conditions. Flush mounting enhances installation flexibility.

Construction and Installation

The circuit breaker features an IP20 protection rating, providing protection against finger contact and solid objects larger than 12.5mm. Conductor cross-section for single-core wires ranges from 1.5 to 35 mm² and for multi-core wires from 1.5 to 25 mm², allowing connection of wires of varying thickness. Constructed from high-quality materials, it ensures durability and reliable operation across a wide ambient temperature range – from -25°C to +70°C.
