Professional busbar for modular distribution boards

The BI1-1P-12 comb busbar is a horizontal fork busbar designed for professional electrical installations in modular distribution boards. The single-phase design with a width of 12 modules allows for the connection of up to 12 modular devices in a single mounting process.

Construction and electrical parameters

The busbar is made of high-quality conductive materials with a cross-section of 10 mm², ensuring optimal conductivity for currents up to 63A. The horizontal design features a contact pitch of 17.8 mm, which corresponds to the standard width of a single module in a distribution board.

The insulated grey housing guarantees user safety and protects against accidental contact. The busbar is designed to operate in temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, with storage possible in the range of -40°C to +70°C.

Application and compatibility

The device is dedicated to powering single-phase devices equipped with a neutral conductor (N), making it an ideal solution for standard residential and commercial installations. The maximum operating voltage is 400V, and the rated impulse voltage reaches 2 kV, providing surge resistance.

The busbar can be trimmed to size, allowing for precise fitting to a specific number of devices in the distribution board. The total length is 210 mm, and the construction height is only 15.7 mm, which minimizes the space occupied.

Protection parameters and performance

The product is characterized by high protection parameters - a rated conditional short-circuit current of 0.63 kA and a withstand short-time current of 1.2 kA. These values guarantee safe operation even in the event of an installation failure.

The design is not suitable for devices with auxiliary contacts, which influences its specific application in standard modular distribution boards.
