Comb busbar for expanded modular installations

The BI1-1P-57 comb busbar is a horizontal comb-type power busbar with a length of one meter, adapted to connect a maximum of 57 modular devices. Thanks to a width of 57 modules and a pitch of 17.8mm between connection points, it enables efficient power distribution in expanded electrical installations.

The single-phase design (1 phase, single pole) makes it ideal for standard domestic and industrial installations. The busbar is made with a 16mm² cross-section, which guarantees a safe rated current of 80A even when multiple loads are connected simultaneously.

Mounting flexibility and system compatibility

The standard busbar length is 1 meter, but a significant advantage is the possibility of cutting to size according to the needs of a specific installation. This flexibility allows for precise fitting to the dimensions of the distribution board or panel.

The busbar is adapted for use with devices equipped with screw terminals, ensuring secure and durable electrical connections. The design also takes into account compatibility with devices having an N rail (neutral conductor), enabling comprehensive power supply for single-phase loads.

Electrical parameters and operational safety

The system provides a maximum operating voltage up to 400V, which covers most standard applications in residential and commercial construction. The busbar features full insulation (insulated) in gray, guaranteeing user safety and aesthetic installation.

Protection parameters include a rated impulse voltage of 2kV and short-circuit current withstand capability - conditional short-circuit current 0.63kA and short-time withstand current 1.2kA. These values ensure effective protection against the effects of potential short circuits in the installation.

Operating conditions and structural durability

The device operates stably in a wide temperature range from -20°C to +50°C, and storage is possible in an even wider range from -40°C to +70°C. The structural dimensions are a height of 15.7mm and a depth of 1016mm, allowing for installation in standard distribution boards.
