Application and construction of the comb busbar
The BIS4-3PN-12 comb busbar is a horizontal supply busbar designed for quick and safe connection of modular devices in electrical distribution boards. The four-pole construction (4P) enables simultaneous supply of three phases and the neutral conductor, making it an ideal solution for three-phase installations.
The construction with a width of 3 modules allows for installation of a maximum of 3 modular devices, providing a compact installation in standard distribution cabinets. The busbar with a length of 213 mm corresponds to one row of modules, and the spacing between connection points is 17.8 mm, which guarantees optimal distribution of elements.
The cross-section of 10 mm² provides an adequate conducting surface for currents up to 63A, while maintaining compact dimensions. The busbar is factory-insulated and available in gray color, which facilitates identification in the installation.
Electrical parameters and safety
The device operates at a maximum rated voltage Ue = 400V, which allows for application in typical industrial and commercial installations. The rated continuous current Iu = 63A guarantees adequate load capacity for most distribution applications.
Installation safety is ensured by short-circuit parameters: conditional short-circuit current Iq = 0.63 kA and withstand short-time current Icw = 1.2 kA. These values determine the busbar's resistance to the effects of possible short circuits in the circuit.

The device can operate at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, which allows installation both in heated indoor spaces and in unheated distribution panels. Storage temperature ranges from -40°C to +70°C, providing wide logistical possibilities.
The structural height is 27.7 mm, which allows mounting even in shallow distribution enclosures.
