The DPX3-MODBUS communication interface enables the integration of DPX3 compact circuit breakers with building automation and monitoring systems, using the Modbus RS485 communication standard. **Communication and integration

This interface allows you to read the status of the circuit breaker (on/off), current measurement and other parameters, enabling remote monitoring and load control. This allows for quick response to failures, optimization of energy consumption and increased installation safety. Modbus RS485 communication is widely used in industrial and building systems, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices and software.

**Construction and assembly

The interface is mounted on a DIN rail inside the DPX3 circuit breaker housing, occupying one module. Made of durable thermoplastic in gray (RAL 7035), it provides durability and resistance to environmental conditions. It has an LED indicator signaling the communication status. The degree of protection IP20 guarantees protection against accidental contact. The interface does not have a bus connection – communication takes place directly through the RS485 port. The ability to describe or label facilitates identification of the device in the installation.

• The interface does not support other bus systems such as KNX, LON or Powernet, focusing exclusively on the Modbus protocol.
