Energy meter with CT measurement, 3-phase 5 A with pulse output 412042
Three-phase energy meter with indirect measurement
This three-phase electrical energy meter, designed for use with current transformers (CT), offers precise energy consumption measurement in installations with higher power demand. It is a robust and reliable device, ideal for both professional installers and end-users requiring accurate energy consumption monitoring. The meter is designed for DIN rail mounting, facilitating integration with existing electrical infrastructure.
Functionality and Application
The Legrand EMDX3 meter measures active and reactive power in three-phase systems with or without a neutral conductor. Thanks to its dual-tariff measurement system, it enables billing of energy consumption across different tariff zones, allowing for cost optimization. The S0 pulse output allows remote data reading and integration with energy monitoring systems and automatic meter reading (AMR) systems. Reverse rotation blocking and password protection ensure data integrity and prevent unauthorized access. The device holds MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) certification, confirming its compliance with European accuracy standards for measurement.
Construction Features and Parameters
The meter features a compact design with a width of 4 modules, enabling efficient use of space within the distribution board. The enclosure with IP54 protection rating ensures resistance to dust and moisture, allowing installation in various environmental conditions. Durable screw terminals support connection of conductors with a cross-section from 1 to 16 mm². The digital display presents key energy consumption parameters, while the wide range of rated voltages (90-265 V N-L / 156-460 V L-L) and currents (5 A) ensures compatibility with various electrical installations. Accuracy class B guarantees precise measurements even under high loads. Additionally, the meter includes a pulse input for collecting data from other measuring devices.
