Flush-mounted distribution box PRACTIBOX S is a solution for demanding electrical installations, combining functionality with modern design. Features and application

This 4-row distribution box with transparent doors allows for easy inspection of the installation status without having to open the housing. Made of high-quality plastic, it is durable and resistant to mechanical damage (IK07). The IP40 protection rating guarantees protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm. Thanks to the possibility of expansion, it can be adapted to changing energy needs of the building. Transparent doors not only facilitate control but also eliminate the effect of mirror reflections thanks to the use of a satin material – a subtle but important detail affecting the aesthetics of the interior.

Construction and mounting

The PRACTIBOX S distribution box has been designed with ease of installation in mind. The set includes N and PE terminal blocks, making it easier to connect neutral and protective conductors. The neutral bar allows connection of conductors with a cross-section of 1x25 mm² and 12x16 mm², and the earthing bar 1x25 mm² and 34x16 mm². The housing has an opening providing easy access to the interior and mounting a lock (lock included), which increases the safety of the installation. The DIN rail inside the distribution box provides stable mounting of modular devices. The dimensions of the distribution box are 436 mm wide, 765 mm high and 103 mm mounting depth. The internal depth is 72mm.

Safety and compliance with standards

The distribution box meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60670-24, allowing for the creation of sets compliant with IEC/EN 61439-3. It has Class II protection and is made of self-extinguishing insulating material at 650°C, which increases safety. Signal-permeable doors ensure good mobile network coverage even with the housing closed.
