Flush-mounted distribution board – solid protection for electrical installations

This flush-mounted distribution board from Legrand, from the XL3 S series, is a reliable solution for installation inside premises. It is designed for building safe and functional electrical distribution boards in homes, apartments and commercial buildings. The construction allows for mounting up to 72 modules, providing sufficient space for protective devices, circuit breakers and other essential elements.

Construction and characteristics

The housing made of steel guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. White color (RAL 9003) provides an aesthetic appearance and easy matching to the interior. The distribution board has an opening for cable entry, as well as a lock providing additional security. The set includes a mounting plate and TH35 supports, spaced 150 mm apart – this is crucial for easy and precise mounting of modular devices. Independent adjustment of the depth of the TH35 supports gives the installer complete freedom to adapt the distribution board to the specific needs of the project.

The IP30 protection degree protects against accidental contact with live parts and against the ingress of small solid objects. The distribution board is compatible with DPX 160 devices and modular apparatus, increasing its versatility. The possibility of expansion allows it to be adapted to changing installation requirements. A transparent cover (available separately) provides easy access to the internal elements without having to open the door.

Application and compliance with standards

The XL3 S 160 distribution board is perfect for electrical installations requiring a large number of circuits. The ability to create certified sets in accordance with IEC/EN 61439-2 and -3 standards confirms its high quality and safety of use. It meets the requirements of IEC/EN 61439-1, IEC/EN 61439-3 and IEC 60695-2-1. Designed to operate at temperatures from -5°C to 40°C.

Please remember that the door and connection strips must be purchased separately – they allow for complete closure of the housing and provide additional protection against external factors (increasing the degree of protection to IP40).
