Flush-mounted distribution board for electrical installations – reliability and flexibility

This XL3 S 160 flush-mounted distribution board, made of steel and finished in white (RAL 9003), is a solid solution for professionals and demanding users. Designed for wall mounting, it provides an aesthetic appearance and safe distribution of electrical energy. The construction allows for the installation of up to 288 modules, making it ideal for larger home installations or commercial properties.

Construction and functionality

The distribution board has 8 rows, offering ample space for circuit breakers, protective devices and other modular equipment. Made of durable steel, it provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Supplied with a mounting plate and TH35 brackets (at 150 mm intervals), it facilitates quick and precise mounting of equipment. The ability to independently adjust the depth of the TH35 brackets is an additional advantage, allowing the distribution board to be adapted to specific installation needs. An opening in the housing allows for easy routing of cables. The IP30 degree of protection protects against accidental contact with conductive parts and the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm.

Application and compliance with standards

The XL3 S 160 distribution board is adapted for mounting DPX³ 160 circuit breakers and modular devices. It allows for the creation of certified sets in accordance with IEC/EN 61439-2 and -3 standards, which guarantees safety and compliance with applicable regulations. The top and bottom plates have knockouts for easy cable entry using cable glands. The possibility of mounting Lina 25 busbar systems further increases the flexibility of the installation. Please note that the door and connection strips are available for separate purchase – they allow for full personalization of the distribution board and increase its protection class to IP40.
