The VALENA LIFE series from Legrand is a comprehensive line of electrical installation products that stands out through the combination of classic shapes with modern solutions. It covers over 150 functions - from basic switches and sockets, through multimedia solutions (TV, internet, USB), to radio, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth control, as well as remote management via the Internet. Frames from this series are available in five finish lines: neutral, metal, graphics, color, and wood. Each has its own unique character and specific surface finish.

Construction and materials

The frame is made of thermoplastic - a plastic with good mechanical resistance. The surface has a glossy finish, which gives it an elegant appearance and makes it easy to clean. The design allows for both horizontal and vertical mounting - simply rotate the frame before inserting the mechanism. The fastening is done via a snap-fit, so installation is fast and tool-free. Impact resistance at the IK04 level means the frame withstands impacts with energy up to 0.5 J - sufficient to survive typical operational loads in a home.

The IP20 protection rating indicates that the frame is not suitable for places exposed to moisture - this is standard for indoor accessories installed in dry residential rooms.

Design from the Grafika line - Lodowa Fantazja

The Lodowa Fantazja variant belongs to the Grafika design line, which is characterized by distinctive decorative patterns on the frame surface. Unlike the smooth colors of the neutral line or the metallic finishes of the metal line - here the surface creates a decorative effect in itself. This frame is part of the decorative frame group, which also includes the Kremowa Fantazja and Link variants. The color scheme refers to RAL 1013 (a beige shade), making the frame fit into bright, classic interior arrangements.

The VALENA LIFE series itself offers the possibility of personalizing the appearance of the installation thanks to 16 frame colors and 3 colors of plates/switches. They can be freely combined to create consistent color sets matched to walls and furniture.

The frame is halogen-free, which means no emission of toxic halogen gases in the event of a fire - this is an important feature from the perspective of fire safety in residential buildings.

Compatibility and usage

The frame is intended for flush-mounted accessories from the VALENA LIFE series - it is mounted onto a mechanism previously snapped into the box. External dimensions are 86 × 86 mm, with a depth of 10 mm. The frame does not have a hinged cover or a place for a label/marking - it is a pure decorative housing for the mechanism.

To complete the set, the appropriate mechanism (switch, socket, etc.) from the VALENA LIFE series must be purchased separately - the frame serves solely as an external decorative casing. The series offers a full range of electrical functions that match this design.
