Marker ko1.5-4 (x1200) 038214
Cable and terminal block marker
The CAB 3 marking system from Legrand is a proven solution for marking electrical wires in switchboards and control cabinets. The marker with the digit "4" in yellow allows for unambiguous identification of a specific circuit or function - which is crucial during service work, modernization, or installation expansion.
The yellow color is not accidental - the CAB 3 system is based on the international color code EN 60062, ensuring that markings are consistent with standards used throughout Europe. An installer working on industrial or public utility facilities can easily continue marking according to the same standard.
Compatibility and mounting method
The marker fits wires with a cross-section from 0,5 to 1,5 mm² and Viking 3 terminal blocks. The "open hoop" design allows for application both before connecting the wire and after it has been installed - a significant advantage in tight switchboard spaces where maneuvering the wire end can be difficult.
Mounting consists of snapping the marker onto the wire or terminal block - without tools, quickly and securely.
Resistance and operating conditions
The operating temperature range from -30°C to +85°C makes the marker suitable for both typical indoor conditions and industrial environments exposed to temperature fluctuations - e.g., near production machinery or in unheated technical rooms.
Dimensions of 5 × 3 mm ensure print legibility while maintaining a compact form; a wire core diameter in the range of 0,8-1,4 mm guarantees secure seating on single-core wires.
Support for the professional workshop
Legrand also offers dedicated service cases containing CAB 3 marking sets and Starfix ferrules - complete tools for an electrician working on-site who needs to quickly and clearly mark new circuits without the need for manual wire labeling.
The package contains 1200 pieces of markings - enough even for extensive installation projects or regular inspections of large-scale switchgear.
