The S 304 B 16A overcurrent protector is designed for operation in circuits with a rated voltage of 400V and a frequency of 50–60 Hz. Its B characteristic ensures rapid response to short-circuit currents while allowing for brief overloads that may occur during the startup of motor-driven equipment. The short-circuit breaking capacity of 6 kA at 400V (compliant with EN 60898) and up to 10 kA at 400V (compliant with IEC 60947-2) guarantees safety even under demanding conditions. With a width of 4 modules, installation in distribution boards is straightforward.

Installation and additional features

Installation is performed on a standard TH35 rail, significantly speeding up the installation process. The overcurrent protector supports connection of single-core cables with cross-sections from 1.5 to 35 mm² and multi-core cables from 1.5 to 25 mm². It supports flush mounting and offers optional accessories (auxiliary contacts, trip units) to enhance functionality and adaptability to various requirements. Simultaneous disconnection of the N conductor ensures complete circuit protection. The IP20 protection rating guards against accidental contact.
