Construction and application

Safety and compliance with standards

The socket was designed with user safety in mind. It has a halogen-free material, which minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. Compliance with IEC/EN 60309-1 and IEC/EN 60309-2 confirms its high quality and meeting stringent safety requirements. The absence of a protective pin does not affect the safety of use, as the socket has grounding (pole Z). Glow-wire resistance (850°C for active part carrier and 650°C for housing) further increases the level of safety.
