The EMDX³ network analyzer is an advanced measuring device designed for mounting on switchboard doors or directly on the panel. It is used for comprehensive analysis of electrical network parameters, providing key data to both installers and end users. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of installations, from residential buildings to industrial facilities.

Measurement and Analytical Functions

The device offers a wide range of measurements, including current, voltage, active and reactive power, power factor, and frequency. Additionally, the analyzer features built-in measurement of active and reactive energy (both positive and negative), enabling precise monitoring of energy consumption. Harmonic analysis up to the 50th order is also significant, allowing identification of network disturbances and assessment of power quality. Programmable built-in alarms enable rapid response in case of exceeding defined thresholds.

The EMDX³ analyzer not only measures but also analyzes power quality, detecting voltage sags, surges, interruptions, and flicker. This facilitates diagnosis of installation issues and prevention of failures. The internal memory with 8 MB capacity allows storage of measurement data for later analysis. The possibility of expansion with additional functional modules – RS485 Modbus communication, pulse output for energy measurement, relay inputs/outputs, or analog outputs – enhances its functionality and adapts it to specific user requirements.

Mounting and Compatibility

The analyzer is designed for mounting on switchboard doors or on the panel. Compliance with standards IEC/EN 61557-12 and IEC/EN 62053-22 (active energy class 0.5) and IEC/EN 62053-23 (reactive energy class 2) ensures measurement accuracy and reliability. Equipped with a clear LCD display, it provides easy reading of measurement results under any lighting conditions.
