The P 312 B 10A 30mA circuit breaker is designed to protect circuits with a rated voltage of 230V and a rated current of 10A. Characteristic B provides a quick response to current increase, which is particularly important in circuits with devices with high starting current, e.g. motors. AC sensitivity means that the circuit breaker reacts to sinusoidal leakage currents, typical of most household appliances. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 10kA guarantees effective protection of the installation in the event of a short circuit.
The circuit breakers from the DX³ series are compatible with the HX³ Energy Optimal Distribution System, allowing wireless connection to the electrical installation – this simplifies installation and system configuration. Additionally, the ability to equip with auxiliary contacts, releases and drives from the DX³ series allows you to adapt the functionality of the circuit breaker to individual needs.
Construction and installation
The P 312 circuit breaker is characterized by a compact design – it occupies only 2 modules in width, which saves space in the distribution board. Installation is carried out on a standard TH35 rail, which simplifies and speeds up installation. The built-in test button allows regular checking of the correct operation of the circuit breaker, ensuring continuous protection. The locking mechanism prevents accidental switching on of the circuit breaker after it has been switched off by the protection device. The installation depth is 44 mm, and the degree of protection IP20 provides basic protection against touch and solid objects. The cross-section of solid conductors can be from 0.75 to 16 mm², and stranded conductors from 0.75 to 10 mm².
