Residual current device P 302 2P 25 A 100 mA Type A TX3 series 411564
Safety and Protection in Your Electrical Installation
The residual current device (RCD) of the TX³ series is a critical component ensuring safe operation of electrical installations, protecting both people and equipment. It provides protection against electric shock and fire hazards by rapidly detecting dangerous leakage currents. This two-pole model, rated at 25A and with a sensitivity of 100mA, type A, is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications in residential and commercial buildings.
Design and Functionality
The DIN-rail mounted RCD (2-module width) features a compact design and easy installation. The test button enables regular verification of proper operation, which is essential for maintaining full system security. Constructed from high-quality materials, it ensures reliable performance under various environmental conditions (operating temperature range: -25°C to 60°C). The bottom entry and covered terminals facilitate connection of conductors with cross-sections from 0.75 mm² to 50 mm² (single-core) or 35 mm² (multi-core). Additionally, the mechanism lock ensures safety during maintenance and repair.
Application and Compatibility
The RCD P302 TX³ is designed to work seamlessly with auxiliary devices such as auxiliary contacts, undervoltage releases, and remote controls. It complies with EN 61008-1 and VDE 0664-10 standards, guaranteeing conformity with current safety regulations. Its Type A characteristic enables effective protection against both sinusoidal and pulsating DC leakage currents—particularly important in modern installations powering electronic devices. The short-circuit withstand rating of 10 kA ensures protection in the event of a fault. The rated impulse voltage withstand (Uimp) is 4 kV, and the insulation voltage (Ui) is 250V.
