Residual current device P 302 2P 25 A 30 mA type F (HPI) DX3 series 411590
Safety and Protection in Your Electrical Installation
This two-pole residual current device (RCD) from the DX³ series is a critical component ensuring safety in every home and building. With a rated current of 25A and sensitivity of 30mA, the device effectively protects against electric shock and prevents fires caused by insulation damage or earth faults. Designed as Type F (Hpi), it is resistant to interference, making it an ideal solution even in demanding environments.
This RCD not only safeguards people but also protects valuable electrical equipment from damage caused by installation faults. Its compact design occupies just 2 modules on a DIN rail, simplifying installation and saving space in the distribution board.
Functionality and Applications
RCDs from the P300 DX³ series are engineered for reliability and durability. This model, thanks to its Hpi-type construction, is particularly recommended for installations exposed to interference, where standard RCDs may cause unwanted tripping. It performs reliably in both newly installed systems and during upgrades of existing installations. Compatibility with the HX³ Optimal Energy Distribution System up to 125A extends its functionality, enabling integration with advanced energy management systems.
Installation is performed on standard DIN rail TH35, and conductor connections can be made using either comb busbars or pin terminals. Additionally, the device can be equipped with auxiliary contacts, trip units, and drives from the DX³ series, allowing customization to meet specific installation requirements.
Technical Specifications and Construction
The device is constructed from high-quality materials, ensuring long-term operation and reliability. It features a mechanical lock that prevents accidental re-energizing after tripping due to residual current activation. The rated impulse voltage withstand is 4kV, providing resistance to voltage surges. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 60°C. Dimensions: width 35.6 mm, height 94.8 mm, depth 77.8 mm. The enclosure color (RAL 7035) ensures an aesthetic appearance and easy identification within the distribution board. Short-circuit withstand capacity (Icw) is 10kA, and impulse current withstand is 3kA, demonstrating high build quality and reliability under emergency conditions.
