SZR Controller – Central Control for Power Source Switching
The SZR Controller is a device designed for automatic switching between two power sources, ensuring continuous energy supply. It is a key component in emergency power systems (UPS) and in any application where reliability and downtime minimization are required. The device enables control of two circuit breakers, making it an ideal solution for both commercial and industrial installations.
Functionality and Application
The SZR Controller is designed to operate with two circuit breakers, enabling switching between two independent power sources. In the event of a failure of one source, automatic switching to the second source ensures uninterrupted power supply to critical loads. Voltage supply configuration (110 V AC or 230 V AC) via a jumper provides installation flexibility and adaptation to various operating conditions. Additionally, the controller features 2 isolated relay outputs (5 A 250 V AC) and an RS485 communication interface, enabling integration with building monitoring and control systems (BMS).
Construction and Key Features
The device features a compact design with dimensions of 140 x 60 x 140 mm. It is constructed from high-quality materials, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental conditions within a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. The controller is halogen-free, enhancing operational safety and minimizing the emission of harmful substances in case of fire. It includes a graphic LCD display and an IR communication port on the front panel, facilitating configuration and monitoring of operating parameters. The possibility of expansion with I/O modules (ref. no. 422690/91/92) increases the device's functionality and allows adaptation to specific installation requirements. The controller can be powered from either a 12-24 V DC network or a 110-240 V AC network.
