Signal contact for SP51, SP58 021692
LEGRAND signal contact - reliable signaling for SP51/SP58 fuse bases
The 021692 signal contact is a professional accessory for SP51 and SP58 fuse bases, enabling monitoring of the circuit disconnection status. Thanks to its 1NO+1NC configuration (one normally open and one normally closed contact), it provides universal signaling in automation and control systems.
Construction and compatibility
The device is installed laterally on the right side of the SP51 or SP58 bases, occupying only 0.5 modules (17.5 mm width). The design allows for top mounting and the possibility of installation on a TH 35 rail or directly with screws, providing flexibility in various switchboard configurations.
The electrical connection is made via a flat plug, simplifying wiring and allowing for quick replacement or service without the need to dismantle the entire installation.
Operating parameters and safety
The contact operates with a rated current of 5A at a voltage of AC-15/230V, making it suitable for most signaling applications in industrial installations and public utility buildings. Compliance with the IEC 60269-2 standard and Veritas approval guarantee meeting rigorous safety requirements.
The contact configuration allows for simultaneous monitoring of the closed (NO) and open (NC) state of the circuit, enabling the creation of advanced signaling systems with signal integrity control.
Application and practical benefits
The main application is signaling the disconnection function - when the main fuse switch disconnects the circuit, the contact transmits this status to control, alarm, or visualization systems. This is a key solution for:
- Automation systems requiring power status information
- Installations where monitoring the switching sequence is necessary
- Switchboards with multiple circuits requiring centralized status signaling
Thanks to its compact design, it does not disturb the aesthetics of the switchboard, and the lateral mounting eliminates interference with other installation elements.
