The connection is made via the screw method - solid screw terminals guarantee durable contact even at full rated load and eliminate the risk of wire loosening during operation.

The front protection rating of IP20 protects against finger contact and against access by solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The mechanical impact resistance is IK04, which is sufficient for standard installation conditions in switchgear. The device is equipped with a visual indicator of the contact state - green in the open position, red in the closed position or in the event of a failure of one of the poles.

Operating parameters and control capabilities

The maximum operating voltage is 400 V AC, with the device tolerating operation in the range of 0-690 V. The continuous current Iu at 63 A allows for direct control of single-phase circuits with this load capacity. The rated conditional short-circuit current Iq = 4500 kA and the short-circuit making capacity of 3 kA mean that the switch withstands short-circuit loads without damage - an important feature in installations with protective automation.

An important function is the possibility of remote operation via a dedicated auxiliary control module. The switch also accepts motor operators for automatic switching on and off (up to 63 A - two- and four-pole versions). The locking mechanism allows for physical immobilization of the lever with a padlock - a standard protection against accidental or unauthorized switching during service work.
