Universal control transformer for industrial installations
The 044211 transformer is a professional solution providing safe separation and voltage reduction in control systems. Thanks to a wide range of primary voltages (215V to 415V) and a modular design, it is suitable for both new installations and modernizations of existing systems.
Construction and operational safety
The device is designed as a safety and isolation transformer, which guarantees effective protection against electric shock and galvanic separation of primary and secondary circuits. The core, made of insulation material of class B according to IEC 85 standard, ensures long-term thermal stability during continuous operation.
The housing, with dimensions of 94×78×113 mm, features an IP2X protection rating, protecting against accidental contact with live parts. The modular design allows for mounting on a standard DIN rail, which significantly simplifies installation in switchboards and control cabinets.
Electrical parameters and power flexibility
The transformer offers 6 different primary voltages: 215V, 230V, 245V, 385V, 400V, and 415V, providing flexibility when connecting to various power systems. The secondary voltage is stabilized at 24V AC, ideal for most control and automation systems.
The apparent power of 40 VA allows for powering typical control loads such as contactor coils, auxiliary relays, or signal lamps. A short-circuit impedance of 10.29% guarantees stable operation even under varying loads.
Installation and operation
Connection is made via marked screw terminals, enabling fast and secure mounting of wires with different cross-sections. The IK04 class mechanical impact resistance protects the device from damage during transport and installation.
The transformer is not short-circuit proof on the secondary side, therefore requiring the use of additional overcurrent protection in the output circuit. Thanks to its compact design, it fits standard modular switchboards, occupying minimal installation space.
