Professional isolation transformer for industrial automation

Single-phase control transformer with power rating of 250 VA provides safe galvanic isolation of control circuits from the main power supply. The device has been specifically designed for industrial automation applications, where reliable isolation and stable secondary voltage are crucial for proper operation of control systems.

Electrical parameters and power supply flexibility

The transformer offers six different primary voltages in the range from 215V to 415V, allowing flexible adaptation to various industrial power systems. Secondary voltages of 115V and 230V enable powering a wide range of control devices - from simple logic circuits to advanced PLC controllers.

The relative short-circuit voltage of 6.08% guarantees stable operation even under variable load conditions, and insulation class B according to IEC85 ensures long-term reliability at operating temperatures typical for industrial environments.

Construction and operational safety

The housing with dimensions of 106×123×115 mm made from high-quality materials provides protection degree IP2X, protecting against accidental contact with live parts and small solid objects with diameter above 12.5 mm. Mechanical impact resistance class IK04 guarantees resistance to accidental impacts with energy up to 0.5 J.

The transformer is designed as an isolating device (not as a safety transformer), which means it provides galvanic isolation of circuits while maintaining full power functionality. Active elements are protected by a housing with ratings significantly exceeding the nominal parameters of this model.

Mounting and system compatibility

The device is designed for mounting on standard DIN TH35 rail for power up to 250 VA, which simplifies installation in industrial distribution boards and control cabinets. The protective terminal supplied in the set enables safe grounding and connections of secondary zero potential to ground.

The transformer meets the requirements of European standards PN-EN61558-2-2 and PN-EN61558-2-4 or PN-EN61558-2-6 as well as American UL506 and Canadian CSA C22.2-No.66, making it a universal solution for international applications. Additionally, it meets the requirements of building equipment standards PN-EN61131-2, PN-EN60204-1 and PN-EN60439-1 and holds UL certifications for North American markets.

The built-in interference filter effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference from the power supply network as well as interference generated by the controlled devices themselves, which improves the quality of control signals and reduces the risk of logic errors in automation systems.

Connections are made using solid screw terminals with clear markings of connection points, which facilitates installation and servicing by technical personnel with varying levels of experience.
