Distribution board doors – transparency and access

These flat, transparent doors are designed for XL3 160 series distribution boards, providing easy access to the installation without the need to open them. Made of durable steel and coated with paint, they guarantee durability and corrosion resistance. The transparent design facilitates element identification and quick diagnostics, which translates to reduced downtime and more efficient operation.

Construction and assembly

The doors are designed for easy installation in standard XL3 160 cabinets with a height of 900 mm. Supplied with closing handles, they allow convenient opening and closing. Replaceable lock inserts (available separately) allow for additional installation security. It is important to maintain a distance of 34 mm between the doors and the cabinet cover during installation. The IP40 protection class provides basic protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm.

Application and compatibility

These doors are used in electrical installations where visual monitoring of the circuit status is required without interrupting the power supply. They are ideal for wall-mounted distribution boards, allowing quick identification of potential problems. Manufacturing in accordance with standards ensures safe use, although there is no declaration of conformity with the EMC Directive.
