Compatibility and Functionality

The PWFMDD202.ENCXCOM module is designed to work with VMulti indoor units. Communication takes place at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, in accordance with the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard, which guarantees a stable connection to the home network. Thanks to this, the user can easily control the temperature in the house, check the device status and receive notifications of any failures – all from a smartphone or tablet. The LG Smart ThinQ application requires Android v4.1 or iOS 9.0 or later.

Installation and Extensions

The module connects to the indoor unit via a 1:1 connection. The kit includes USB cables with a length of 60 and 50 cm, making connection easier. For those who need a longer cable, an optional PWYREW000 cable (10 meter extension) is available. It is worth remembering that the module has compact dimensions (48 x 68 x 14 mm), which makes its discreet mounting easier. This simple solution allows you to modernize existing LG Therma V installations without having to replace the entire heat pump.
