Construction and functionality

The SSCi-048-V6 softstarter is distinguished by its compact dimensions (98 x 201 x 165 mm) and a weight of only 2.1 kg, making it easy to install even in tight spaces. Mounting is done on a DIN rail or directly on the surface. The built-in bypass allows for direct switching to mains power after the start-up is completed, minimizing energy losses and extending the life of the device. Fault diagnostics are extremely simple thanks to two LEDs on the front panel, which quickly indicate potential problems. Setting parameters is intuitive thanks to clear indicators.

Operating parameters and application

The device is designed for motors with a power of up to 22 kW at a voltage of 400 VAC. The rated current is 48 A. The softstarter supports a wide range of supply voltages – from 200 to 575 VAC (+10/-15%). Two control voltage ranges are available: 110 ~ 240 VAC and 380 ~ 440 VAC. The operating temperature is in the range of -10°C to +60°C, and the protection class is IP20. Thanks to the ability to adjust the start-up time (1-20 seconds), the device's operation can be adapted to the specific requirements of the application. The starting current can reach a value of 4xInom (four times the rated current).
