EMC input filter FLD 3100, 3-phase, class B, for inverters up to 45kW FLD3100
EMC input filter – protection and reliability for inverters
The EMC input filter FLD 3100 is a key element ensuring the proper operation and longevity of inverters with a power of up to 45kW. Its task is to eliminate interference generated by the inverter, which can negatively affect the power grid and other devices. Class B filter is designed for use in residential and industrial environments where limiting electromagnetic interference emissions is required.
Application and benefits
EMC filters, and especially the FLD series, are essential wherever inverters are used. They protect both the inverter itself from interference from the grid and the power grid from interference generated by the inverter. This translates into stable operation of devices, minimizing the risk of failure and meeting safety standards. The design of the FLD filter allows for effective suppression of both symmetrical and asymmetrical interference.
- Network protection: Reduces the impact of the inverter on the quality of energy in the power grid.
- Increased reliability: Protects the inverter from damage caused by interference from the grid.
- Simple installation: Compact dimensions and ease of installation translate into time and cost savings during system startup.
- Long lifespan: Designed to operate in a wide temperature range (-25°C…85°C) and resistant to overloads, ensuring trouble-free operation for at least 25 years.
- High efficiency: Provides effective interference suppression with minimal impact on system energy efficiency.
Construction and operating parameters
FLD filters are characterized by a solid construction that provides effective heat dissipation and high resistance to environmental conditions (IP20 protection class). They are designed to work with power cables up to 50 meters long and a voltage of 3x380V to 480V at a frequency of 60Hz. These filters are resistant to short-term overloads – the permissible overload is 1.5 times the rated current for 1 minute per hour and 4 times during switching on. This characteristic makes the filter cope well with starting devices with a motor, which generate a high starting current.
