LG iS7 Series Drive – a versatile solution for industry

The LG iS7 series drive is a modern device designed for demanding industrial applications. It is characterized by high functionality and wide applicability, being the successor to the popular iS5 series. Advanced control algorithms ensure high precision of machine operation and optimal efficiency. The SV0900IS7-4SOD model with a power of 90kW, powered by 3x400VAC, is perfect for various industrial installations.

Construction and application

The iS7 drive offers constant and variable torque vector control, allowing for flexible adaptation to the load characteristics. It is equipped as standard with a built-in braking module and an EMC filter of class C3 (up to 22kW), minimizing electromagnetic interference. For powers up to 220kW, a choke is built into the DC circuit, improving the power factor and extending the life of the power modules. The device does not have a keyboard as standard, but allows for encoder operation, synchronization and simple positioning. In addition, the availability of numerous expansion cards allows you to adapt the functionality to specific application needs.

Construction and mounting

The iS7 series drives are available in various sizes, adapted to the output power (from 0.75kW to 160kW). Mounting is on a rail or directly on the surface. In the case of models with a power above 90kW, it is possible to remove the front cover to facilitate the connection of wires. Remember to properly ground the device and use appropriate power and control cables in accordance with the operating instructions. Versions with IP54 protection are also available for use in environments with increased humidity or dust (up to 22kW).
