The 30 cm bar cordless chainsaw is designed for daily household tasks such as pruning branches or preparing firewood. Thanks to the brushless BLDC motor, the tool offers higher torque while maintaining a slightly slower chain speed (7.7 m/s). This parameter configuration is not accidental – it allows for safer and more controlled cutting, which is crucial when working with wood up to approximately 25-28 cm in diameter. The device does not require regular bearing lubrication or carbon brush replacement, significantly extending its service life and reducing maintenance costs.

Safety and ease of operation

Operator safety is ensured by anti-kickback systems and a rapid electric brake. The anti-kickback function minimizes the risk of sudden bar kickback if the tip strikes a hard object, a common cause of accidents with chainsaws. The electric brake stops the chain in a fraction of a second after releasing the trigger or detecting a dangerous kickback. For the installer and user, the tool-free chain replacement and tensioning is also important – simply turn the knob to adjust tension without needing wrenches. The large oil filler cap facilitates quick refilling of the 150 ml tank, while the automatic lubrication system ensures even distribution of oil to the bar and chain.

Durability and LXT system compatibility

The device construction is reinforced with XPT (Xtreme Protection Technology) technology, increasing resistance to dust and moisture (IPX4 class). This allows the saw to operate in harsher atmospheric conditions without risking electronic damage. Important for professionals is the restriction on battery compatibility: the device works exclusively with LXT 18 V batteries equipped with electronics (series from 2.0 Ah to 6.0 Ah). Older G-type models (without electronics) or BL1815(N) and BL1820(B) batteries cannot be used, protecting the motor from uncontrolled startup or control system damage. The set includes a BL1850B battery (5.0 Ah) and a fast charger DC18RC, allowing work to begin immediately after purchase.

The brushless BLDC motor design eliminates the need for carbon brush replacement, resulting in lower internal friction and longer device life even with intensive use. Higher torque achieved at lower peripheral speed facilitates cutting hard wood without the risk of the tool "jamming" in the material. The XPT system ensures resistance to external conditions, allowing safe operation even during light rain or in environments full of wood dust. Additionally, the anti-kickback function effectively reduces bar kickback force, increasing operator safety when pruning branches overhead or in hard-to-reach places.

The device dimensions are approximately 704 x 214 x 234 mm, and the weight with the battery is around 4.2–4.4 kg (EPTA), making it light enough for one-handed operation over extended periods while remaining stable during cutting. The vibration level is 5.3 m/s² (with uncertainty factor K=1.5 m/s²), resulting in less operator hand fatigue compared to older models with brushed motors. The bar oil tank holds 150 ml of lubricant, and the chain pitch is the standard 3/8 inch for this class of devices with a groove width of 1.1 mm.
