The 36 V cordless chainsaw (comprising two 18 V cells) is a tool designed for garden, park, and high-altitude work. Thanks to its brushless BLDC motor construction, the device delivers high torque while minimizing energy consumption, resulting in longer runtime per charge. A chain speed of up to 20 m/s enables fast and precise cutting of wood with a diameter matching the guide bar length of 30 cm. This configuration is particularly useful for pruning branches, removing ornamental trees, or preparing firewood in areas where access to the electrical grid is impossible or inconvenient.

Safety and Ergonomics in Demanding Conditions

Operating a chainsaw requires not only power but, above all, control over the tool. This model is equipped with an anti-kickback system that minimizes the risk of sudden guide bar rebound when contacting hard wood fragments or cutting at improper angles. Safety is further ensured by a rapid electric brake that immediately stops the chain upon detection of a hazardous situation or after releasing the trigger. For professionals working on ladders or elevated platforms, the metal toothed spur and a special hook for attaching the device to a tool belt are essential – this solution eliminates the risk of tool drop and facilitates quick removal from a pocket.

XPT (X-Protected Technology) enhances the housing's resistance to dust and moisture, which is crucial when working in adverse weather conditions or in forests. Internal circuits protect the motor from overheating, and an automatic main switch-off system prevents accidental device startup after work completion. Notably, the adjustable automatic chain lubrication system ensures an optimal amount of oil is delivered to the guide bar, extending the life of cutting components and reducing friction. Oil level can be easily checked through a window in the 0.2 l reservoir, and chain replacement and tensioning are performed without additional tools – only the socket wrench included in the kit is required.

Power Supply and System Compatibility

The device operates exclusively with Li-Ion batteries with capacities ranging from 3.0 Ah to 6.0 Ah (BL18 series), providing users with flexibility in selecting runtime according to task scale. Please note that the saw does not work with older battery models labeled BL1811G, BL1813G, or BL1815G (versions without electronics). To increase performance, the BAP182 adapter can be connected, allowing simultaneous mounting of two batteries without needing a dedicated starter kit.

Required parameters for proper operation are a voltage of 2 x 18 V and support for cells with a capacity of 3–6 Ah. The guide bar has a length of 30 cm, with a groove matched to a width of 1.3 mm and a pitch of 3/8". The chain reaches a speed of up to 20 m/s, ensuring efficient cutting. The lubricant tank holds 0.2 l of oil, and the device's weight is approximately 4.7 kg (without batteries). The total length without the guide bar is 270 mm, facilitating maneuvering in tight spaces. The kit includes only the saw head – batteries and charger are not part of the standard delivery for the model designated as "ZB". LED indicators for low battery charge allow users to plan work breaks before the energy is completely depleted. Thanks to compact dimensions and relatively low weight, the tool does not fatigue the wrist even during extended assembly or maintenance sessions.
