This tool is designed for situations where heavy chainsaws are impractical and manual branch pruning is exhausting. The cordless branch saw with a 10 cm (100 mm) guide bar is an ideal solution for pruning trees in orchards, shaping shrubs in gardens, and removing dead branches at heights unreachable by standard pruning shears. Thanks to its compact dimensions (408 x 90 x 249 mm) and a weight starting at just 1.6 kg (with battery), the operator can work for extended periods without excessive wrist strain. This is not just about convenience—reduced weight translates to greater cutting precision and a lower risk of error when working overhead.

The device is powered by a brushless DC motor (BLDC), which in practice means no need to replace brushes and a longer mechanism lifespan. This motor provides a chain speed of 8 m/s, allowing for rapid cutting of branches up to approximately 10 cm in diameter. It is worth noting that the set includes an 18 V Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3.0 Ah and a charger, enabling immediate work start upon unpacking. The battery charging time to full capacity is approximately 22 minutes, allowing for efficient use of short work breaks or quick switching to a second battery for longer tasks.

Operating comfort and safety during work

User safety is a priority here, evident in the design of the movable guide bar guard. This guard opens gradually only when the saw is embedded in the branch, minimizing the risk of accidental contact with the sharp chain while maneuvering the tool. Additionally, the trigger lock lever is designed to be easily accessible from both sides of the device—an important convenience for right-handed and left-handed users, as well as those who need to change their grip while working in difficult terrain.

XPT technology (enhanced dust and moisture resistance) ensures the chainsaw performs better in adverse weather conditions or when working among leaves and wood dust. There are also features facilitating daily operation:

• Automatic chain lubrication – the oil pump operates synchronously with the motor, ensuring the correct amount of lubricant without manual intervention.
• Oil level indicator – a transparent window allows for a quick check of the lubricant supply before starting the task.
• Tool-free chain replacement and tensioning – thanks to a special tensioner, the chain tension can be adjusted or a worn element replaced without using wrenches or other auxiliary tools.
• Electric brake – ensures immediate chain stoppage upon releasing the trigger or in case of kickback.

The oil tank capacity is 55 ml (0.055 L), which, with standard consumption, is sufficient for a solid pruning session before refilling is required. The noise level generated by the device is 76 dB(A) (sound pressure) with a vibration coefficient K of only 1.5 m/s²—this is a very low vibration level that significantly reduces hand fatigue during hours of work.

Application and set completeness

The DUC101SF01 chainsaw is a ready-to-use solution "straight out of the box." The set includes not only the machine with battery and charger but also a full set of accessories necessary to keep the tool in working order: a guide bar cover, a cutting unit cover, and a chain file. The chain has a pitch of 0.325" and a link thickness of 1.1 mm (groove width), which is a standard for lightweight garden chainsaws, ensuring good rigidity while maintaining a lightweight construction. The entire unit is transported in a durable tool bag, facilitating transport between different locations or safe storage after seasonal work is completed.

This tool is not compatible with the cheapest G-series batteries (without electronics), requiring full LXT cells to ensure the safety and efficiency of the BLDC system.
