Thanks to the use of XPT (Xtreme Protection Technology), the device features enhanced resistance to dust and moisture, allowing for safe operation in more difficult atmospheric conditions without worrying about contaminants entering the motor interior. The set includes all necessary equipment to start work immediately: the trimmer itself, a 2.5 Ah battery, and the DC40RA fast charger.

Cutting performance and work ergonomics

The brushless motor generates 460 W of power, resulting in a high no-load speed of 2100 min⁻¹ and a cutting stroke rate of 4200 min⁻¹. Thanks to these parameters, it is possible to effectively trim branches up to 20 mm in diameter while maintaining a tooth spacing of 30 mm. The long cutting bar, 600 mm in length, enables rapid trimming of large hedge surfaces in a single motion.

To ensure operator comfort, the manufacturer has implemented an anti-vibration system that reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use. An additional advantage is the reverse blade function, which facilitates clearing the blades in the event of plant material jamming. The low battery level indicator informs the user when the battery needs to be replaced or recharged, allowing for work break planning and avoiding sudden machine stoppage during trimming.

Compatibility and scope of application

The device is compatible exclusively with XGT 40V Max series batteries (capacities: 2 Ah, 2.5 Ah, 4 Ah, 5 Ah, and 8 Ah), as well as with external power sources such as PDC01 or PDC1500. Please note that batteries from other Makita series are not compatible with this model. The UH021GD101 set is ready for use immediately after unpacking and includes a complete starter kit: the UH021G trimmer with cutting blade (manufacturer code: 1914G5-5), a 2.5 Ah BL4025 battery, and the DC40RA fast charger.
