Compact DIN rail power supply for automation and telecommunications

The MDR-10-15 switch-mode power supply is a reliable 10W power source designed for mounting on a DIN rail. It is ideal for industrial applications, automation systems and telecommunications equipment where space saving and high efficiency are important. Thanks to the wide range of input voltages (85-264VAC or 120-370VDC) it is universal and resistant to voltage fluctuations in the network.

Safety and functionality

The power supply design has been enhanced with a number of protections that protect both the unit itself and the devices connected to it. These include:

• Overload protection - prevents damage caused by excessive current draw.
• Short-circuit protection - automatically cuts off the power supply in the event of a short circuit in the circuit.
• Over-temperature protection - protects the power supply from thermal damage.
• Over-voltage protection - minimizes the risk of damage caused by sudden voltage surges.

Additionally, a built-in LED indicates correct operation of the power supply, and the DC OK output signal allows for remote monitoring of the power supply status.

Design and mounting

The power supply is characterized by a narrow housing (22.5x90x100mm), which facilitates mounting in tight spaces. Mounting is done using a standard TS35 DIN rail (7.5 or 15 mm). The device operates in a wide temperature range (-20°C to +70°C) without the need for additional cooling (convection cooling). Efficiency at 81% translates to lower energy losses and lower operating costs. The power supply meets the requirements of Class I insulation, which provides additional safety of use.
