90° elbow SP/SP PVC-C 2" 4707-020
PVC-C elbow made of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) is a reliable solution for water and industrial installations. A 90-degree angle and socket connection (KW/KW) ensure a tight and durable connection. The product is designed for use in both residential and commercial construction, as well as in industrial installations where chemical resistance is required.
Features and application
This is a 90° elbow with a diameter of 2 inches (54 mm) made of PVC-C, a material characterized by high temperature resistance (up to 80°C, briefly up to 95°C) and a working pressure of up to 2.76 MPa at +23°C. It is ideal for hot and cold water installations, air conditioning systems, and in industry where various chemical compounds are transported. Connection is made using aggressive adhesives, which ensures quick and safe installation – a durable connection can be achieved in just one minute. Additionally, the possibility of using threaded and flanged elements allows integration with various installation systems.
Advantages and benefits
Using PVC-C elbows translates into a number of benefits for both the installer and the end user:
- Long service life: PVC-C material guarantees the durability of the installation for at least 50 years.
- Resistance to deposits: The smooth inner surface prevents the deposition of scale and dirt, maintaining the pipeline throughput at a constant level.
- Chemical resistance: The elbow is resistant to the action of several hundred chemical compounds, making it an ideal choice for industrial installations.
- Biological inertness: The material is physiologically and microbiologically inert, ensuring safety for health.
- Quick installation: Gluing PVC-C elements is simple, fast and does not require specialized tools or electricity.
- Damping properties: PVC-C reduces vibrations and noise in the installation, improving comfort.
- Lightweight: Compared to traditional materials (steel, copper), PVC-C is much lighter, making it easier to transport and install.
- Thermal insulation: High thermal insulation reduces heat loss and prevents condensation of water vapor on the pipeline surface.
- Fire safety: PVC-C does not support the combustion process, increasing safety in the event of a fire.
- No corrosion: Electrical insulation eliminates the risk of galvanic and electrochemical corrosion, especially in underground installations.
- Structural rigidity: The pipes are rigid, which affects the aesthetics of the installation
This NIBCO® elbow made of PVC-C FlowGuard® guarantees reliability and long-term use in demanding conditions.
