The OM-163 power limiter relay is a versatile device that combines the functions of a power limiter, a voltage relay, and a digital multimeter. It allows for precise control of electrical parameters and protection of connected devices against overloads, voltage drops, and overheating. Functionality and application
OM-163 monitors and reacts to exceedances of set thresholds for total power, active power, reactive power, effective current, and minimum and maximum voltage. If an irregularity is detected, the device can automatically disconnect the load, protecting it from damage. Additionally, the ability to set a disconnection time and automatic restart (APZ) increases flexibility and adaptation to specific installation needs.
The device is particularly useful in situations where:

Construction and parameters
OM-163 is mounted on a DIN rail in a distribution box, which facilitates its integration with the existing electrical infrastructure. It is equipped with a clear three-digit seven-segment display that shows the current values of the measured parameters – total power, active power, reactive power, current, and voltage. Changing the displayed parameter is done using navigation buttons in the menu. A screw locking mechanism and password protection prevent accidental changes to the settings. The device is powered directly from the load supply circuit, simplifying installation and configuration.
The applied construction solutions ensure the reliability and durability of the device even in harsh working conditions. The relay has a thermal protection that switches it off when the temperature of the contact group exceeds 85°C. The maximum measuring power of the device is 14 kW with a maximum measuring current of 63A and a maximum switching current also of 63A. The device is intended for operation in single-phase networks with a nominal voltage of 230/240 AC.
