How does self-regulation work?

The key to the operation of the Frostguard cable is its self-regulating heating power. This means that the cable automatically adjusts the amount of heat generated to the ambient temperature. On colder days it heats more strongly, and on warmer days – less intensely. This eliminates the risk of overheating and allows for energy-saving operation. Therefore, you do not need an additional controller or complicated settings.

Installation and application – simple and versatile

The Frostguard cable can be used both outside and inside pipes. It is safe for pipes made of various materials – metal and plastics. Its flexibility makes it easy to adapt to the shape of the pipeline. The heating power of the cable is 12 W/m, which ensures effective protection against freezing even in difficult weather conditions. The cable has a braided screen for increased safety. The maximum operating temperature is 65°C at a rated voltage of 230V. The dimensions of the cable are 8.5 mm high and 5.8 mm wide, and its length is 4 meters. The black color provides a discreet look of the installation.
