QuickNet heating mat for installation in tile adhesive

The thin QuickNet heating mat with a power output of 160 W/m² has been designed for installation within a layer of tile adhesive in residential and commercial spaces. Thanks to its special design featuring a support mesh and a self-adhesive surface, it allows for fast and precise installation directly into the tile adhesive layer.

Construction and materials

The system is based on constant-resistance technology with a heating cable providing 11.2 W/m, factory-terminated with a 5-meter cold lead. The mat measures 0.5 × 14.0 m (area of 7 m²) with a total thickness of only 3.5 mm, eliminating the need to raise the floor level.

The support mesh allows for precise adjustment to any room shape. The spacing between the cables is approximately 7 cm, which guarantees even heat distribution across the entire surface.

Application and installation

The mat is intended for installation under ceramic tiles and natural stone in kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, and hallways. The two-core system provides single-sided power supply, simplifying the electrical installation.

Installation takes place directly in the tile adhesive layer or in a self-leveling screed layer (maximum 20 mm), enabling the fastest heat distribution. The maximum floor height including tiles is only 15 mm. The mat can be installed under furniture with legs, provided a minimum open space of 25 mm is maintained between the floor and the furniture.

Operating parameters and safety

The system operates at 230 V with a total heating power of 1120 W. The mat is characterized by high reliability due to its safety certifications.

Installation requires protection by a residual current device (RCD): an individual one for wet rooms (protection UL = 25V) or a general one for dry rooms (UL = 50V). The system must not be installed in a TN-C network configuration.

Compliance and standards

The product meets the requirements of European safety standards, confirmed by CE (European), VDE (German), and SEMKO (Swedish) certifications. The manufacturer's warranty is standardly 12 years, and when installed by a certified Pro installer, it can be extended to 20 years.

Before shipping, every mat undergoes professional electrical measurements to check insulation status and electrical resistance. The measurement results are documented on the invoice and the product packaging, ensuring quality control of the delivered equipment.
