V-TEC Cable Glands – Reliable Sealing and Strain Relief

The V-TEC PG13 LGR cable gland is an element used for the safe and tight introduction of cables into junction boxes, enclosures and distribution boards. It provides not only protection against moisture and dust (IP68 protection class), but also relieves the cable, preventing it from being pulled out. This solution is proven both in home installations and in demanding industrial conditions.

Construction and materials

Made of polyamide (PA), the gland is characterized by high mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. This material, combined with the precisely made PG13.5 thread, guarantees stable mounting and vibration resistance. The gray color (RAL 7035) provides an aesthetic appearance and good visibility in various environments. The gland is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

Application and benefits

The V-TEC PG13 LGR gland is designed for cables with a diameter of 5 to 12 mm. The integrated seal and special lamellar technology provide a high degree of tightness (IP68), confirmed by tests in accordance with DIN EN 62444. Strain relief protects the cable from mechanical damage, and the appropriate thread pitch (1.41 mm) ensures a secure connection even in vibrating conditions. The wrench size of 24 mm facilitates assembly and disassembly. The gland operates in a wide temperature range, from -20°C to +65°C, making it a universal solution for various applications.
