The isCon Pro+ 75 SW lightning protection conductor is an advanced solution for discharging surge currents, designed for both professional installers and end-users. It provides effective protection against the effects of lightning strikes, minimizing the risk of damage and fires. The conductor's construction guarantees high mechanical and electrical resistance, and its high-voltage insulation ensures safe use.
Construction and properties
The isCon Pro+ 75 SW is characterized by a solid construction. It consists of seven copper wires with a cross-section of 35 mm², which ensures high flexibility and tensile strength. The insulation made of EVA material guarantees high resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation. An additional black protective jacket protects against mechanical damage during installation and operation. It is worth noting that the conductor has been tested in accordance with IEC/EN 62561-1 (VDE 0185-561-1) with H1/150 kA and IEC TS 62561-8 (VDE V 0185-561-8), which confirms its high quality and reliability.
Application and benefits
The isCon Pro+ 75 SW conductor is widely used in lightning protection systems for buildings and industrial structures. Its main task is to safely discharge surge currents to the ground, protecting the electrical installation and people in the building. The equivalent separation distance is 0.75 m in air and 1.5 m in the case of permanent building materials, which facilitates the correct design of the lightning protection system in accordance with IEC 62305 (VDE 0185-305-3). In addition, the conductor can be used in areas at risk of explosion in zones EX 1/2 and 21/22, provided that the current installation instructions are followed. The low weight of the conductor – approximately 69.4 kg per 100 meters – facilitates transport and installation.
