This lightning mast, made of 304 (V2A) stainless steel, is a key element of a system protecting against direct lightning strikes. Its tripod design ensures stability and efficiency in discharging the current. The mast is intended for use in facilities exposed to direct strikes, such as biogas plants, monitoring stations or external photovoltaic installations.

Construction and application

The mast consists of the lightning conductor itself and a multi-arm base. This is a complete solution for protection against the effects of atmospheric discharges, which minimizes the risk of damage and ensures the safety of the installation. Please note that concrete ballast bases, edge protection and threaded anchors are sold separately – this allows you to adapt the foundation to specific ground conditions and wind loads.

Materials and properties

The 304 (V2A) stainless steel used guarantees high corrosion resistance and long-term reliability, even in harsh weather conditions. The mast is delivered in a raw state, allowing it to be painted or further protected against external factors. A round conductor as a type of connection ensures easy and secure mounting with the remaining elements of the lightning protection system. A length of 12 meters makes this mast suitable for objects of considerable height or requiring a wide range of protection. The lack of high-voltage insulation means that this mast works by directly discharging the current to the ground – the standard principle of operation of lightning masts.
