Grounding conductor for lightning and equipotential bonding

Round conductor RD 10-V2A is an element of the lightning protection and equipotential bonding system, made of stainless steel. It is used in installations requiring high corrosion resistance and durability, both indoors and outdoors – in the ground. Its construction and material guarantee reliability and long-lasting protection against the effects of atmospheric discharges and equalizes potentials, minimizing the risk of electric shock.

Construction and application

The conductor is characterized by a single core made of stainless steel 304 (V2A), which provides high corrosion resistance. The core cross-section is 78 mm², and the diameter is 10 mm, making it suitable for applications requiring high electrical conductivity. The lack of insulation and halogen-free material increase safety. The conductor is supplied in coils of 50 meters in length, which facilitates its transport and installation. Compliant with DIN EN 62561-2 (VDE 0185-561-2) and VDE 0185-305 (IEC 62305), as well as DIN 18014 standard for foundation earthing – when used in the ground, the V4A version is recommended to increase resistance to soil corrosion.
