RD 8-FT 50 wire is designed with versatility in mind. A single-wire core with a diameter of 8 mm provides good conductivity, and the lack of a sheath makes it ideal for applications where additional insulation is not required. It can be used in accordance with DIN EN 62561-2 (VDE 0185-561-2) and meets the requirements of VDE 0185-305 (IEC 62305). Importantly, RD 10 wire (with similar parameters) can also be used directly in the ground – this is an option for outdoor installations. The zinc coating with a thickness of at least 350 g/m² (average approx. 50 µm) guarantees effective protection against corrosion, even in harsh environmental conditions.
