Grounding conductor for demanding conditions

The round RD 8-V4A conductor is a solid solution for grounding and equipotential bonding, especially in environments exposed to corrosion. Made of high-quality V4A stainless steel (1.4571/1.4404), it ensures long-term reliability and safety of the installation. A cross-section of 50 mm² and a core diameter of 8 mm guarantee adequate conductivity and mechanical strength.

Construction and application

This conductor is solid-core (class 1), which facilitates its installation and connection. The lack of an outer sheath and the raw surface make it ideal for direct use in the ground, in accordance with DIN 18014 standard for foundation grounding. It can also be used in installations meeting the requirements of DIN EN 62561-2 (VDE 0185-561-2) and VDE 0185-305 (IEC 62305) - i.e. where ensuring protection against the effects of lightning strikes is crucial.
