The V20-1+NPE-280 surge arrester is a key element ensuring the safety of the electrical installation and protecting connected devices from the effects of sudden voltage increases. It is a Class 2 device designed to protect against surges in TN, TT and TN-S, as well as TN-C-S networks. Its task is to discharge surge energy to ground, minimizing the risk of damage and failures.

This two-pole arrester (1P+N) is characterized by high efficiency and a durable construction. Mounting is done on a standard DIN TH-35 mm mounting rail, which facilitates integration with the existing electrical infrastructure. Optical signaling informs about the possible operation of the device, allowing for quick identification of the problem and replacement of the insert.

Parameters and application

The device is adapted to work in circuits with a rated voltage of 230V AC and a maximum conductor cross-section of up to 35 mm². Short-circuit strength at the level of 20 kA and the ability to discharge discharge currents up to 40 kA (8/20) guarantee effective protection even in the event of strong surge pulses. The protection level of 1.3 kV provides a high degree of safety for connected devices.

This arrester is primarily used in main and sub-distribution boards, where surge protection is particularly important. Thanks to its compact size (2 modules), it does not take up much space in the distribution cabinet. The degree of protection IP20 provides basic protection against touch and contamination.
