Surge protection for domestic and industrial installations

The V50-B+C 3 TCC surge arrester is a reliable element protecting electrical installations from the effects of lightning strikes and voltage surges in the network. Designed to work with potential equalization systems in lightning protection, it meets the requirements of VDE 0185-305 (IEC 62305) and provides effective protection for electrical equipment. It is a type 1+2 component, which means it combines the functions of a first and second level protection arrester.

Design and application

The arrester is made of high-quality polyamide (PA), which guarantees its mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. The self-extinguishing housing (UL 94 V-0) further increases safety. Designed for mounting on a 35 mm top-hat rail, which facilitates its installation in electrical switchboards. It finds application in buildings with external lightning protection systems of level III and IV, providing comprehensive protection against the effects of lightning strikes. Thanks to the possibility of remote failure indication (FS), the user is informed about the need to replace the insert, minimizing the risk of lack of protection.
