Equipotential bonding bar – safety and compliance with standards
The 1809 A equipotential bonding bar is a key element ensuring effective protection against overvoltage and electric shock. The product is designed for equipotential bonding in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 / -540 standards and lightning equipotential bonding DIN VDE 0185-305. It finds application in both building and industrial installations where high reliability and safety are required.
Construction and parameters
The bar is made of brass with nickel-plated terminal surfaces, which ensures excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The solid construction guarantees stable connections even in harsh operating conditions. The insulated design minimizes the risk of accidental contact with conductive elements. The polystyrene cover and base plate increase user safety and protect against external factors.
The bar allows connection of up to seven rigid conductors with a cross-section of up to 25 mm² and one flat FL 30 conductor. Additionally, one round conductor with a diameter of 8-10 mm can be connected. This makes the product versatile and can be used in various installation configurations. It is worth noting the possibility of connecting stranded wires up to 16 mm².
The use of high-quality materials, such as steel and brass, and the galvanized surface of the terminals, guarantee long-lasting and trouble-free operation of the device. The bar is adapted to work in various environmental conditions, and its black, UV-resistant housing ensures color durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The lightning current impulse withstands up to 50 kA (10/350), which confirms the high effectiveness of protection against overvoltage.
