Application and Intended Use

The PP elbow by VESBO allows changing the pipeline route direction at an angle of 90° in plastic installations. It is designed for welded systems - individual elements are joined together using the welding method with an appropriate electric welding machine.

The diameter of 32 mm makes this fitting primarily suitable for plumbing installations - both in supply risers and horizontal distributors - found in residential buildings and public utility structures.

Sockets on both sides of the elbow allow connection with PP pipes of the same external diameter without additional gaskets or adhesives - the entire assembly forms a uniform connection after the welding process.

Material and Technical Characteristics

VESBO fittings are manufactured from high-quality static copolymer resins of polypropylene PP-R type 3. Compared to PP type 1 or type 2, this material offers higher impact resistance and better thermal strength - which translates into the durability of water installations using pipes and fittings from this manufacturer.

Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material - under the influence of appropriate temperature, the surfaces of elements can be permanently joined by the welding method. The fitting operates at a working pressure up to 10 bar and temperature reaching 95°C, which meets the requirements for hot domestic water and central heating installations in standard household conditions. The manufacturer estimates the service life of the entire system at approximately 50 years.

The elbow weighs 0.114 kg, which facilitates handling during installation even in hard-to-reach places.

Installation and Compatibility

Welding is performed using a standard electric welding machine equipped with sockets matched to the diameter of 32 mm. The process involves simultaneously heating the pipe and fitting surfaces for several seconds, followed by their quick connection - both the heating time and the clamping force during assembly are critical.

The VESBO system is based on homogeneous PP-R material across all its components - pipes and fittings - which ensures connection consistency and eliminates the risk of leaks resulting from differences in dimensional tolerances or chemical composition between elements from different manufacturers.
