Durable connections in water and heating installations

The VESBO PP-R 45° Elbow is an installation fitting designed to change the direction of medium flow at a forty-five-degree angle. Made of static copolymer resin PP-R type 3 - a thermoplastic with high mechanical and chemical resistance. The socketed ends on both sides enable connection via polyfusion welding, which ensures a uniform, leak-proof connection with pipes from the same system, free of any thermal bridges.

Polyfusion welding consists of simultaneously heating the surfaces of the pipe and the fitting to the melting temperature of polypropylene, and then permanently joining them. This results in a monolithic joint - there are no gaskets, threads, or adhesives that could weaken over time. The connection is irreversible and requires no subsequent maintenance.

Resistance to operating conditions

Polypropylene type 3 does not corrode - unlike steel installation elements, it does not react with oxygen or moisture contained in the water. No limescale deposits form on the internal walls of the fitting, which means a constant effective cross-section of the pipe throughout the entire service life of the installation. The fitting also exhibits resistance to most chemicals used in water management.

Scope of application

The elbow is suitable for both cold and hot domestic water installations, as well as in central heating systems - in both single-family and multi-family residential buildings, as well as in public utility facilities or industrial installations. The nominal diameter 32 mm corresponds to the most commonly used sizes for vertical or oblique branches of installations distributing water to outlets.

Installation requires standard PP-R welding tools - a heating table or a welding gun with appropriate sockets calibrated for the 32 mm diameter. Before starting work, ensure that the pipes and fittings come from the same system or are dimensionally compatible - differences in diameter tolerances between manufacturers can affect the quality of the weld.
