This cross switch with backlight is part of the AS series by OSPEL, designed to control lighting from more than two locations. It is suitable for both new construction and modernization of existing installations. Its universal design in white color fits most interior arrangements.

Construction and installation – thoughtful detail

The switch has been designed with the convenience of installers and users in mind. A scale on the back of the base makes it easier to precisely strip the wires, which translates to safety and reliability of the connections. Side wire routing allows for quality control of their connection before mounting the module in the box. Claws with latches facilitate stable mounting in the box, and a quick-release frame cover ensures quick installation and removal. Additionally, base spacing elements guarantee perfect module spacing in multiple boxes.

Safety and durability – OSPEL priorities

The switch has an IP20 protection rating, but it can be easily increased to IP44 by using an additional sealing kit – an ideal solution for rooms exposed to moisture. Shrouds for current paths protect against accidental electric shock, and the construction of self-returning spring claws protects the installer's fingers during installation. A two-color screw marking system (silver/gold) makes it easier to identify the power supply wire terminal, minimizing the risk of incorrect connection. Made of high-quality thermoplastic, the switch is resistant to mechanical damage and ensures long-term use.
