Electronic motion sensor - GOLD METALLIC IMPRESJA ŁP-16Y/M/28
Motion sensor with metallic finish, ready for installation in a standard frame
This sensor detects movement within a range of up to 7 meters, with a 136-degree detection angle that enables coverage of large areas such as hallways, lobbies, or staircases. It requires no additional relays or control wiring – simply connect it directly to the lighting circuit. It operates at 230 V, 50 Hz, and its relay can handle loads up to 3200 W for incandescent lamps, 750 W for fluorescent and inductive light sources – sufficient for most residential and local installations.
Threaded terminals simplify quick and secure wiring – no concerns about loose connections or additional clamps. The activation time can be set between 3 seconds and 5 minutes, allowing customization for different needs: short activation when passing through a corridor, or longer duration when someone remains in the space for an extended period.
The IP20 protection rating indicates that this sensor is designed exclusively for indoor dry environments – not suitable for bathrooms or garages. Its design is engineered to work specifically with Impresja-series frames – it does not work on its own. A compatible frame (e.g., gold metallic) is required for installation; it not only conceals the mechanism but also integrates it seamlessly into the interior design.
Why choose this model?
- Metallic gold finish stands out from standard hardware – an elegant detail that enhances interior aesthetics without requiring expensive materials.
- No electrical rewiring needed – install it like a standard switch, but enjoy automatic control instead of manual operation.
- Quiet and flicker-free operation – no characteristic “click” found in older models with bimetallic contacts.
- Frame is separate – allows easy color changes in the future without replacing the entire sensor.
- 7-meter range and wide angle mean you don’t need multiple sensors in one room – one is sufficient.
Installation and usage
Simply mount the frame in the wall (as with a standard socket), connect the live and neutral wires (earth wire is not required), then insert the sensor. Time setting is adjusted via a dial on the housing – no tools needed. Once powered, the sensor operates automatically: it turns on the lighting upon detecting motion and turns it off after the preset time elapses.
It does not respond to movements of small household pets below a specified size – a standard feature in most modern sensors. There is no “day/night” mode – it operates continuously, so if you wish to avoid daytime activation, manual control or an additional solution is required.
